The FrenchCreek 1201N lifeline rope grab is made of stainless steel. It fits 5/8" 3-strand synthetic rope lifelines - like these. It is attachable and detachable anywhere on the rope lifeline.
The 1201N is a super convenient trailing rope grab. This means that little or no user positioning is required. It moves up and down the lifeline automatically as the worker moves up and down. If the worker falls, the rope grab automatically engages.
It fully complies with ANSI and OSHA requirements.
FrenchCreek recommends that the rope grab be used with a 3 foot lanyard or smaller. One can be found here.
